Taking Ownership of Your Career Trajectory

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We sat down with one of our 2020 speakers, Nicole Carpenter. In this video, she discusses why it is so important to invest in yourself and in your professional development. She suggests linking arms with a mentor or sponsor and whatever else you need to do to take real ownership of your career, rather than waiting for someone to do it for you.

Nicole is the communication and operations manager for the Women’s Leadership Institute and serves on the Board of Directors for Reading Horizons. In 2012 she also founded MOMentity.com, a blog and online community for overwhelmed moms.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_cta h2=”Ready to learn from more expert business women like Nicole?” add_button=”bottom” btn_title=”SNAG YOUR SEAT!” btn_shape=”round” btn_color=”pink” btn_size=”lg” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aspireher.com%2Fconference-info%2F|title:Conference%20Info”]Join us at Aspire Her, Utah’s largest women’s business and career conference.
